We have exciting news to share!
The NEW Casa de Oro branch library is opening its doors to the public on Monday, September 21st!
It is located at 9610 Campo Road, across the street from Gladly Coffee and Bridge Thrift thrift store.
In order to transition to the new location, the current location in the shopping center (9805 Campo Rd) will CLOSE September 5th-20th so that the staff can get the new library organized and ready for opening on September 21st.
You can still drop off any borrowed books at the book drop at the 9805 Campo Rd location. For full-service library services between now and September 21st, you can go to the Rancho San Diego branch of the Spring Valley branch.
The grand opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, October 17th at 10am.
Just 19 months ago on February 19, 2025, the groundbreaking ceremony took place!
