Casa de Oro is one of the locations for a “street sweep” at the 42nd Annual Coastal Cleanup organized by I Love A Clean San Diego!

Saturday, September 19, 2026
between 9am and 12noon.

Meet at the grassy area BEHIND the Grocery Outlet store (follow the driveway to the right of the store to get to the back alley). Park in the parking lot in front of the store.

Next up #SaboresdeCDO is Vicky’s Kitchen. Vicky is the absolute sweetest and makes everything from scratch in her kitchen. Pop-up in front of AutoZone Tuesday-Thursday mornings starting at 6am. Get there early before sells out. Variety of burritos that change daily: breakfast, machaca, chicharrón, beef fajita, many more! Plus tamales on Thursdays and delicious café de olla all days!
