THANK YOU to the volunteers who help make the work of the Casa de Oro Alliance possible!
The Alliance is a 100% volunteer-led and run organization, incorporated as a 501c3 nonprofit organization in 2018.
VOLUNTEERS are the reason why we can accomplish these successes here in Casa de Oro:
*monthly community cleanups
*events and community-engagement activities
*grant writing and fundraising
*beautification projects such as the sidewalk planters, landscaping in front of AutoZone and Shell gas station
*live music summer series at Estrella Park and winter series at Gladly Coffee
*art on the Campo Road corridor—covered utility boxes and the mural next to Miss Donuts
*popup events in partnership with local businesses
*reporting issues and concerns to the sheriff’s homeless outreach team, the county’s department of public works, the county’s code enforcement team, and the District 4 County Supervisor Monica Montgomery Steppe’s office.
Imagine how much MORE we could accomplish with just a few more volunteers helping with beautification, social media, events, connecting with businesses, and engaging with our county staff.
Let’s talk!
