Residential Clean Up Event

Hello Casa de Oro Alliance friends and neighbors!
San Diego County’s Department of Public Works is sponsoring a FREE event where you can get rid of your unwanted items.
LOCATION: Spring Valley Community Church, 3310 Bancroft Dr., Spring Valley 91977
DATE: Saturday, June 14
TIME: 8am - 12noon (or until dumpsters / bins are full)
Dispose of unwanted items such as broken appliances, water heaters, furniture, and other miscellaneous household bulky items that are too large or too heavy to place in your trash carts.
ACCEPTABLE ITEMS:
- Electronics including TVs, computer monitors, printers and cell phones
- Recyclable material including #1-7 plastic containers, aluminum, glass containers and cardboard
- Green waste including hedge trimmings, tree branches and weeds
- Mattresses and box springs
- Scrap metal
- Broken appliances
- Water heaters
- Furniture
FREE PAPER SHREDDING!
There will be a certified shredding truck present during the event and all items will be shredded ONSITE!
DONATE REUSABLE ITEMS!
Goodwill will be onsite to accept donated reusable items such as gently used clothes, kitchenware, small household appliances, decor and furnishings.
NOT ACCEPTED:
- household hazardous waste
- batteries
- tires
- construction materials
This is the perfect opportunity to spruce up your home, yard, and storage unit!
