Today is World Kindness Day!

Every November 13th, the world joins together to celebrate World Kindness Day—a global reminder of how small acts of kindness can create a ripple effect that strengthens our connections to one another.

In a world that can often feel divided, practicing kindness gives us a powerful way to connect to each other, ourselves and our values.

THIS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 17 (12-2pm) come to the Casa de Oro Alliance's COMMUNITY MIXER to meet your neighbors and some of the businesses, make a succulent centerpiece, and share ideas! Location: CVS side parking lot facing Carl's Jr.

It's time for our monthly community clean up! It's always held on the first Saturday, so mark your calendar as a recurring event so that you won't miss it!

When: Saturday, November 2, 2024
Where: Grocery Outlet Parking Lot
Time: 8:00-9:00 am
Equipment: Bring your own. Some buckets and bags will be provided.

We won’t have donuts and coffee this month, but you can stop at Miss Donuts and Gladly’s after the clean up 👍

On the first Saturdays of every month, volunteers gather at the Grocery Outlet Parking Lot and clean up the Camp Road Business Corridor!

Bring your kids and feel good knowing that your volunteer efforts really do make a difference! AND it's a great way to meet your fellow Casa de Oro "neighbors"!

The Casa de Oro Alliance beautification committee volunteers will provide some donuts, coffee and water....and a few buckets and trash pickers.

Please bring your own buckets and bags and pickers if you have them.

The Spring Valley Historical Society is accepting gently used clothing and kitchenware for their upcoming Annual Rummage Sale on November 9th & 10th! 🛍️✨

Declutter your house while helping a great cause! Your donations will help raise funds to preserve our community’s rich history. 💙

📅 Drop off donations at the museum: 🕐 Friday, Saturday, or Sunday ⏰ Between 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM
