Archaeologist, historian, researcher, author, and now cold case murder investigator, Richard Carrico details the unsolved murders of three young women in 1931 San Diego County in his newest book Monsters on the Loose: The True Story of Three Unsolved Murders in Prohibition Era San Diego.
Immersing himself in dusty files, long-forgotten oral histories, old newspaper articles, and newly discovered investigation records, Carrico has brought new life to the true stories of the unsolved murders of three young women, including the murder of Louise Teuber that took place in today’s Mission Trails Regional Park.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the event, and there will be a book signing following the lecture. Enjoy “spooky” treats during the presentation.
