DESCRIPTION:SATURDAY\, NOVEMBER 1st (9:30am - 10:30am) \nCASA DE ORO WALK & TALK \nLOCATION: Sweetwater Interpretive Loop Parking Lot (12155 Campo Road) \nCalling all walkers! \nCasa de Oro Alliance’s 1st Saturday “Walk & Talk” is a fun way to meet others\, walk in different locations near or in Casa de Oro\, and get your steps in! \nThis month\, we’ll again meet at the Sweetwater Interpretive Loop trailhead sign at the north end of the parking lot. From there\, we’ll explore one of the trails and take a photo at the Steele Canyon Bridge. \nDIRECTIONS: \nTake SR94 / Campo Road towards Rancho San Diego. Go past the Steele Canyon Bridge and past the McGrath Family YMCA. Turn RIGHT onto Millar Ranch Road and then take almost an immediate right into the parking lot. You can put 12155 Campo Road in your map app and it should take you to the trailhead off of Millar Ranch Road. (NOTE: We will NOT be meeting at the Steele Canyon Bridge\, so if your app takes you to the bridge\, that’s the wrong meeting location). \nHave any questions? DESCRIPTION:SUNDAY\, OCTOBER 26th  (4:00-6:00pm)\nHOWL-O-WEEN DOG COSTUME CONTEST \nLOCATION:  Estrella County Park\, 9813 Estrella Drive \nThe Casa de Oro Alliance’s event committee invites you to dress up your lovable pooch for Halloween and join us at Estrella Park for some Howl-O-Ween fun! \nRegistration (free) begins at 4:00pm. \nJudging begins at 4:30pm. \nCategories: \n\n\nFunniest \n\n\nScariest \n\n\nBest DIY \n\n\nBest Human-Dog Pair \n\n\nPeople’s Choice \n\n\nEnjoy pet-friendly vendors\, treats\, free pet photography\, and costume contest prizes. \nAll dogs MUST be on a 6ft leash at all times and MUST be able to behave well with other dogs. Vaccinations must be up to date. \nTreats and awards donated by Happy Hound Dog Grooming & Pet Supplies. \nThe event will take place near the picnic tables and playground at the LOWER section of the park. The Estrella Drive entrance has 9 parking spaces and there is a steep set of stairs down to the lower part of the park. You can also enter the park from the southeast end at the intersection of Sierra Madre Rd and N. Bonita St. Street parking or park in the Santa Sophia Church parking lot and walk up N.
