DESCRIPTION:Casa de Oro Alliance Events & Engagement Committee invites you to "Meet\, Greet\, & Eat" with your neighbors at Estrella County Park!\n\n\nDid you know that the park is expanding with the Biofiltration and Trash Capture Project? New features like parking\, sidewalks\, trails\, and native plantings will be happening this summer enhancing this natural gem of a park!\n\n* Take a night off cooking dinner and support a delicious local food truck\, TacoLandSD. Food available for purchase with homemade tortillas and a variety of meats. Vegetarian and kid menu items are also available! They are not requiring that the Alliance guarantees a minimum number of customers (which is SO VERY generous of them and unusual in the food truck industry)\, so we really hope that folks will plan to purchase dinner\, bring a picnic blanket\, and enjoy getting to know your neighbors.\n\n* Come meet members of the Casa de Oro Alliance and learn more about our organization. Learn how you can volunteer to help create more events and build relationships within our diverse community.\n\n* Learn about the unique flora and fauna of the park with our local county Park Ranger. One on April 19th from 7-8:30pm at the library (hosted by the Friends of the CDO Library) and one on Tuesday\, April 25 (6-7:30pm) at the library hosted by the Casa de Oro Alliance. The purpose of these meetings is to get our community’s ideas and expectations to put into the County’s Request For Proposals (RFP). This will give the contractors and designers ideas of what our community is like and they can then draw from our ideas to help design the new library. \nThis meeting will be hosted by the Casa de Oro Alliance
