Current efforts are supported by grant funding and focus on outreach and engagement as well as the preliminary engineering design of roundabouts and enhanced bicycle\, pedestrian\, and roadway safety improvements. This is a key step toward improving safety and road conditions consistent with the Campo Road Specific Plan (document).

The grant pays for a brand-new mural and replacement banners for the light poles along Campo Road. \nThe Casa de Oro Alliance partnered with ArtReach San Diego for the mural project. ArtReach received input from a variety of sources\, and the building owner gave the final approval for the design that will be painted on the side of his building. \nThe Casa de Oro Alliance business development committee is working on a fun activity to encourage people to check out the variety of businesses located along the Campo Road business corridor. Give your input and ideas at the Casa de Oro Alliance’s booth at the community paint day! \nIn January we will hold a mural dedication ceremony and will give everyone an activity they can do to “shop local”! Stay tuned! \nIn the meantime\, in order to paint a section of the mural\, you will need to sign up for a time/shift. CLICK HERE for the link.
