A message from the president of the Casa de Oro Alliance: This one photo represents the Alliance accomplishments the past 3 years. Newly installed covered MTS benches. Replaced all old trash cans with covered concrete containers. Painted poles and hung American flag. Renovated landscape and installed new irrigation system. In the near future hanging the newly created CDOA commemorative flag and installing street planters. Stay tuned, TEAM! Together Each Accomplishes More.
Casa de Oro community members gathered this morning and landscaped the south side of AutoZone with native, water-smart plants as well as gorgeous rocks and river stones. The existing cement borders flank what was once the southern main entrance of Bank of America. While we are sad to see a beautiful tree removed, our nation's flag flies proudly in its place, and we're looking forward to planting additional greenery very soon in Casa de Oro. The Casa de Oro Alliance 501(c)(3) is committed to the economic and social development of our community. We are 100% volunteer-based and rely on the generous hearts of our neighbors to accomplish our mission and goals. You may donate using Venmo @CDOAlliance or mail a check to P.O. Box 964, Spring Valley, CA 91977 — THANK YOU!
What's for dinner? Casa de Oro has primo Italian entrees, authentic Mexican dishes, hot bowls of incredible Vietnamese pho soup, deli sandwiches, spicy Szechuan chicken, dessert and fresh coffee. What are you having tonight?
What's new in Casa de Oro? Over the past few days, workers renewed two flagpoles on the south side of AutoZone. Then they installed solar-powered up-lighting, and raised our nation's flag. It's beautiful! There's much more to come for our great community. You can support our efforts with a gift via Venmo @CDOAlliance (TRIVIA: The flagpoles stand at what used to be the entrance of which former business?)
