Sections within Newsletter


Each newsletter should include the following sections:

  • Chairs Report (300 Words)
  • Neighborhood Corner (250 Words)
  • Business Highlight (500 Words)
  • Community Feel (400 Words)
  • Something fun and engaging (300 words)
  • Advertising*

The word count does not account for photos, graphics, art, headlines, bylines, the masthead nor the publisher’s box.

*Advertising is a goal to meet in the future, but due to this year’s goals may not be realistic.


Procedures for Article Submission

All articles must be submitted by the article submission deadline to by the due date for the above-listed publication. A submission does not guarantee publication given the limited space for each newsletter.

All submissions must meet the following criteria:

  • Word Document
  • Flush left
  • 12-point Arial or Times New Roman font
  • Single spaced
  • Upper and lower case
  • Without formatting
  • One space after a period at the end of a sentence
  • No italics, bold and ALL CAPITAL LETTERS unless appropriate

If a document does not meet the above criteria for publication the article will be returned to the person who submitted the article for correct formatting.
